Privacy Notice for Project Enquiries
Last updated: 23 September 2026.
This notice explains how personal information is handled when you visit georgecontract.com or contact us about a hospitality furniture project through the website enquiry, email or telephone. It covers the enquiry route and related website technologies; a project contract may contain additional notices for information needed during an active project.
Who is responsible for the enquiry
georgecontract.com is presented under the public brand George Group China / GEORGE Group. The standard export name is GEORGE BUILDING MATERIALS. The legal company responsible for project enquiries is Foshan Jingcheng Zhizao Building Materials Co., Ltd. (佛山市敬城智造建材有限公司).
Our address is No.44, 2nd Floor, Building 24, Yimeijia Sanitary & Ceramic World, Jihua 4th Road, Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province, P.R.China. For a privacy question or request, email [email protected] or contact Barry Liu at +86 18566012949.
Information involved
Information you choose to provide. This may include your name, company, role, email address, telephone number, country or region, preferred contact method and project message. If you use email or continue to a project review, it may also include the property and location, room or area counts, furniture requirements, drawings, specifications, schedules, commercial context and attachments you choose to provide.
Website and security information. The site and its providers may receive information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, language, referring page, requested page, date and time, security events, cookie or similar identifiers, and interaction data needed to deliver, protect and understand the site.
Please do not send identity documents, payment credentials, financial-account information, health information or other sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it, explain why it is necessary and provide an appropriate way to send it.
Website analytics, security and embedded media
This site currently loads Google code through Site Kit by Google. Site Kit can connect different Google services, and the information or cookies used depend on the service and the site’s consent configuration. Where analytics or a Google tag is active, Google may receive browser, device, network, page-view and interaction information to provide measurement and reporting. This notice does not imply that every service supported by Site Kit is active.
The enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated submissions. Turnstile processes browser and environment signals needed to issue and verify a security token. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not access, store or transmit the visitor’s form entries or other page inputs for this security function.
Some pages may embed a GEORGE Group video hosted on YouTube. Loading or playing an embedded video can allow Google or YouTube to receive device, network and interaction information and to use cookies or similar technologies under their own terms. You can choose not to play an embedded video.
Google and Cloudflare describe their own processing in the Google Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. Browser controls and any consent control shown on the site can be used to manage optional storage or measurement where those controls apply. Essential security processing may still be required to operate the enquiry form.
Why we use information
- to receive, identify and respond to your enquiry;
- to understand the proposed furniture scope, ask for missing information and prepare a project-specific quotation;
- to communicate about the requested project and, if it proceeds, administer the resulting business relationship;
- to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website and enquiry form; and
- to measure site use where the relevant Google service is active and the required choice or permission has been obtained.
Depending on the law that applies, the processing may be necessary to take steps you request before a contract, to perform a resulting contract, to meet a legal obligation, to pursue the legitimate interests of responding to business enquiries and protecting the site, or to act on consent where consent is required. Consent can be withdrawn for future consent-based processing, but withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Who receives information and where it may be processed
Customer form information is handled within GEORGE Group and is not provided to factories or logistics providers. Project enquiries are received by our team in China. If you contact us from another country or region, the enquiry information you send will therefore be transferred to and handled in China.
Limited information may also be processed by providers needed to run the website, email, security, embedded media and configured analytics. The services currently visible on the public enquiry route include Google services connected through Site Kit and Cloudflare Turnstile. These providers may process information in countries where they or their service providers operate. Their involvement does not authorise them to act as a factory or logistics recipient of your project enquiry.
If an active project later requires information to be shared with another party, we will identify the purpose and boundary before that sharing and apply the notice, permission or contract required for the situation.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, assess the proposed project, maintain an appropriate business record, manage any resulting relationship and meet applicable legal, accounting or dispute requirements. An enquiry that does not proceed and an active contracted project do not need the same retention period. When information is no longer needed for the applicable purpose, it is deleted or anonymised as appropriate.
Security, analytics, hosting and email providers may apply their own documented retention periods to technical records they process. Their current settings and the needs of a specific legal request may affect the exact period.
Your choices and rights
You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction or deletion. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive certain information in a portable form, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or complain to a competent data-protection authority. We will review the request under the applicable law and explain any lawful reason that prevents or limits the requested action.
To help us locate the relevant information, identify the enquiry, email address or telephone number you used. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information before acting on it.
